Shell circular, compressed, with squarish, truncated posterior end. Sculpture smooth, except for coarse, irregular ridges. Hinge with small teeth, expanded posterior hinge platform. Lateral teeth strong. Lunule well-defined, raised. Periostracum thin, brownish. Color white or white suffused with peach-orange.
