Florida United Malacologists (FUM) 2026 will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum & Aquarium on Sanibel, Florida. The one-day gathering will bring together researchers, collectors, citizen scientists, enthusiasts, and students interested in a broad range of mollusk-related topics. Presentations are limited to 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions. Presenters are required to submit a simple abstract limited to 150 words or less. Email abstracts to jleal@shellmuseum.org.
Seating will be limited and registration is free, but mandatory. Registration will start on January 10, 2026. We’ll soon post more details about the event.
