Exclusive Experiences for Supporting Members

Enjoy these special, small-group educational and social experiences during the 2026 season, available to Museum Members at the Supporting Membership levels of Lion Paw, Junonia, Angel Wing, and Friends of the Living Gallery.

There is no cost to participate, but reservations are required, space is limited, and availability is first come, first served. Programs are open to active Members at supporting levels only.

Please note, the only program that does not meet at the Museum is Bunche and Brunch, which meets at Bunche Beach Preserve.

Curator’s Choice in the Great Hall of Shells, March 10, 8:30am

Following some time for coffee and pastries, attendees take a tour of the new Great Hall of Shells with Science Director and Curator Dr. José Leal and Executive Director Sam Ankerson. José and Sam share some of their favorite exhibits and stories about how the new exhibits came together. Allows time for questions and exploration of the exhibits before the Museum opens for the day.

Tour of the Museum’s Scientific Collection of Shells, March 23, 8:30am

In addition to the public exhibits of shells, the Museum is home to a scientific collection of shells and other specimens that number approximately 600,000. Join Science Director and Curator Dr. José Leal for a tour of this collection, including shells rarely seen by the public and insight into the care and importance of this kind of natural history collection. Coffee and pastries are available afterwards.
