Mollusks Online
Learn about the fascinating world of mollusks as one of our marine biologists brings the museum and wonders of shells and mollusks virtually to your classroom! Different programs introduce students to many aspects of a mollusks’ life including anatomy, growth, diet, reproduction, and their role in the ecosystem.

How it works:
-
Mollusks Online programs last approximately one hour and are offered via Zoom and WebEx.
-
We incorporate grade-specific Next Generation Sunshine State Standards K-12 curriculum objectives into each Florida school presentation. Additional educational programs can also be conducted for a wide range of audiences including social groups, civic organizations, community and business groups.
-
Cost: $250 per virtual session
-
Virtual sessions are currently available year-round. Scheduling is subject to staff availability.
-
You can help bring Mollusks on the Move virtual sessions to students by donating to our Adopt-A-Class Program! Scholarships are available for Title I schools in Lee and Collier Counties. Each student is required to write a thank-you note to the donor who funded their experience.
