Elliptical Sportella

Shell to 10 mm in length. Shape rhomboid-quadrangular, inflated, white, with very fine, commarginal growth lines. The valve illustrated was collected in 2017 by Susan Hewitt at Turner Beach on Captiva Island. It is slightly damaged, and the illustration will be replaced as other exemplars from our area become available.
