Sibling Tellin

Shell size to 12 mm; shell elongate-oval, beak close to middle of shell. Shell with sculpture of commarginal lines and oblique striations. Shell color variable, usually with reddish or pink rays inside and outside. Paired valves collected by Dr. Jim Scatterday on the East End of Sanibel in early 2015.
