Vespucci Dwarf Turrid
Shell size to 6 mm; shell fusiform. Sculpture of 14-16 axial riblets crossed by 5-6 spiral threads. Stronger spiral thread at periphery. Periphery somewhat angled. Base with spiral threads. Protoconch multispiral. Aperture with well-defined posterior canal. Color yellowish-brown, parietal region and outer lip of darker color. The additional photo (SEM taken by José H. Leal) depicts a juvenile shell; the scale line equals 1 mm.
