West Indian Dove Snail
Shell size to 10 mm; shell with small, pointed spire. Sculpture of flat spiral cords with interspaces of about equal width. Outer lip thickened in middle section, white, with about 12 denticles on inner surface. Color very variable, usually brownish mottlings on white background. Not common on SW Florida beaches, more commonly found on Atlantic coast.
